Natural coffee, whose green beans are roasted without additives such as sugar, is the most natural and healthy way to drink coffee, while maintaining its true flavor and aroma. Furthermore, at Status Coffee, we select specialty coffees from specialty origins. This means that all our natural coffee beans must meet three requirements:

• Be 100% Arabica
• Have no defects
• Achieve a score above 80/100 points on the SCA scale , a score that only professional tasters can give.

Currently, natural coffee beans are grown primarily in tropical and subtropical countries. Coffee cultivation is culturally linked to the history and progress of many countries that have produced it for over a century.

Types of natural roast coffee beans

There are two main types of coffee: Arabica and Robusta. Then, depending on the botanical characteristics of the plant, there are multiple varieties and subvarieties.

• Arabica coffee is the original and most widely cultivated variety (approximately 75%), although it requires more demanding growing conditions. Its flavor is more complex and contains more subtleties than Robusta coffee.
• Robusta coffee is a more resistant plant and less demanding in terms of cultivation. It is a higher-yielding crop, as it can be grown on flat land, which increases the number of plants per area. It has a higher caffeine content, higher acidity, and results in a thicker, more full-bodied infusion. It is less aromatic and simpler than Arabica coffee.
• Blended coffee , or sometimes called a mixture, as its name suggests, refers to the variety resulting from combining several coffees. The goal is to create a final coffee with specific or unique characteristics.
